MARQUETTE, MI – An end-of-watch video in honor of an Upper Peninsula police dog is sure to produce tears from those who’ve known the love of a canine companion.
K9 Nitro was a “staple” of the Marquette Police Department where he served in community outreach and explosives detection for nearly seven years. Nitro died on June 28, his 8th birthday, after being diagnosed with a terminal illness.
