COVENTRY, R.I. – The victims of a house fire in Rhode Island are crediting the dog they rescued from the streets years ago for saving their lives.
The family of three was sitting on their couch inside their Coventry home on a snowy February day when their 12-year-old rescue dog began barking.
Miale grabbed her dog and ran out the backdoor with her daughter. The family and their pets all made it out safely as flames scorched the house.
