Putnam City schools approves to allow teachers, staff to bring therapy dogs to help students

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Putnam City Schools Board just approved allowing teachers and staff to bring in therapy dogs to help their students.

School officials said the teacher or staff member must register the dog with the American Kennel Club and have the dog go through extensive training for what they will be doing to help the students.
