LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A 3-month-old puppy and a 2-month-old kitten met each other at a vulnerable time in their lives — and are now inseparable.
The young pup, named Quill, arrived at the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) after an “altercation” with another dog in early November.
A few days later, the young kitten, named Fritter, arrived at the humane society. Mattingly said he arrived as a stray with a “shocking eye injury.”
Quill and Fritter began their road to recovery together. And now the two remain together at a foster home waiting for a forever family.
