Owner ‘ecstatic’ after Cairns police return four puppies allegedly stolen during break-in

Cairns, Australia – A golden retriever mother “hasn’t stopped smiling” since having her four newborns back in her care after they were allegedly stolen during a home invasion in Far North Queensland.

The two-week-old golden retriever puppies were on Wednesday allegedly taken from a home at Edmonton, south of Cairns, along with the family’s car.

Police said they worked through the night to track the puppies to four different homes.
