LEXINGTON, S.C. – You could say there was a bit of puppy love going around on Wednesday.
It turns out that love could actually affect your heart in more ways than one.
Lexington Medical Center hosted a “Therapy dog stress break” for the community and staff to come by and pet hospital therapy dogs.
According to the American Heart Association, petting a dog can lower your blood pressure, decrease depression and boost your overall health.
