CARRBORO, N.C. – A major apartment fire in Poplar Place Apartments in Carrboro ended with only three injuries – including a small dog and her owner, who was hospitalized.
Firefighters found the little black Chihuahua named Luna in an apartment unconscious from breathing in smoke. They had an oxygen mask specially fitted for pets, put it on Luna and revived her.
