CARLISLE, Mass. – A dog is back home with its family after first responders rescued her from drowning in a cranberry bog culvert at a Massachusetts state park in Carlisle.
Carlisle police said they responded to the cranberry bog in Great Brook Farm State Park at about 5:15 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports about a dog that was stuck in a culvert.
Mark Duffy, the owner of Great Brook Dairy Farm, worked with police officers and firefighters to free the 3-year-old black Labrador retriever named Zena, according to authorities.
