PLACERVILLE, CALIF. – A pup named “Baby Dog” who stood guard at his late owner’s side until the man’s body was found is now in a loving new home.
Baby Dog stayed in the snow with his previous owner, David Dushon, for days until Placer County rescuers found his body. On Tuesday, he got to meet his new family, who lives next door to his owner’s daughter.
