BOONE, IA – The family of a man who went missing in a cornfield is grateful for the new Boone County Sheriff’s Office K-9 that helped rescue him.
An 86-year-old man with dementia and lost in a cornfield was rescued thanks to K9 Djanga. The K9 is a 10-month-old Belgian Malinois recently hired by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
