Orlando, FL – The UCF Police Department’s newest team member has four paws and a big heart.
Luna, a nine-month-old French Bulldog, is partnered with Detective Bianca Becker, who specializes in sex crimes investigations. As the agency’s second therapy dog, Luna will mostly work on these types of cases at both UCFPD and with Central Florida’s Sexual Assault Response Team. Her role is critical in keeping our campus and greater Orlando community safe and supporting sexual assault survivors in their darkest times.
