Perth, Australia – A service dog has broken a record for the biggest litter in Australia.
Perth staffy, named Honey, gave birth to 22 puppies over 25 hours on Monday and Tuesday following three days of tough labour, just two pups short of the world record.
The world record for the biggest litter is held by a much larger Neapolitan mastiff, that gave birth to 24 puppies via a C-section in 2004.
