Tampa, FL – Tragedy struck the Tampa AKC dog show before it even began.
A fire broke out within an RV carrying several prized boxers late Tuesday afternoon, quickly engulfing the entire motor home in flames and resulting in the deaths of the show dogs in a parking lot outside Florida State Fairgrounds.
How many dogs were killed in the fire?
According to social media messages among dog owners, as many as 10 to 12 boxers died in the fire. Another user on Facebook wrote that two pitbulls nearby also were killed from the smoke.
