Chatham County, GA – A Chatham County school teacher and her family say they’re happy to be alive after their Guyton home burned down Saturday morning.
The Hammond family credits their dog with saving their lives. Their dog Turbo alerted them to the flames with his barks.
“We have never been dog owners before,” Jason Hammond said. “So for him to save our lives, he is family. He is the best dog ever.”
