DOÑA ANA COUNTY, NM – A 6-six-year-old bull terrier named Gucci, who survived a violent stabbing attack last December, will start a new chapter of his life this week.
On Dec. 15 of last year, two brothers were fighting inside their home. During the incident, one of the brothers allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Gucci 29 times.
Gucci has moved from New Mexico’s Doña Ana County Animal Control to a rescue group near Houston in Texas. The organization specializes in bull terriers and will provide Gucci with proper care for his recovery.
