FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. – During a hearing Thursday morning, a Florence County magistrate allowed Leo, a 3-year-old German Shepherd, to be released back to his family.
In Florence County, a dog does not have to show aggression or attack anyone to be deemed dangerous. Someone just has to think he is.
Leo was taken on May 1 and has been held at Florence County Environmental Services. The family still must go to court to fight to keep Leo.
